School Tours & Field Trips

Penn's Cave School Tours

Explore, Discover, Learn at Penn’s Cave

Penn’s Cave is an ideal choice for group reservations and class field trips. Everyone will be entertained, as well as educated, while seeing the cavern by boat; taking a ride on the wild side through the wildlife park and farm; and panning for gems at Prospector Pete’s Gemstone Panning! Everyone will have the opportunity to learn about geology, biology, geography, and agriculture – while having fun!

Discounted Rates Available

Discounted rates are available for all tours, as well as gemstone panning, if the group numbers 20 or more paying persons.

Two-week advance reservations and a nonrefundable deposit (deducted from the final amount due when the group takes actual tours) are required for all groups of 20 or more. Free use of outdoor, open-air picnic shelters are extended to schools and other groups based on availability, or for an extra fee, the fully enclosed Picken Pavillion may be reserved based upon availability.

Group Tour Guidelines

For group reservations involving children and/or young adults (age 18 and under), the group must have a minimum of one adult for every 20 students while on the tour(s) and inside the gift shop.

One complimentary admission will be given for every 20 paid persons.

The person acting as group leader is responsible to make full payment on the balance due prior to any tours or events. Payment may be made by cash or credit card.
