Penn's Cave is nestled in firmly in Penns Valley. Stepping into this tranquil region uncovers a landscape defined by rolling agricultural fields, hidden underground limestone cavern networks, and deep mountain gaps.

  • Route 192: If you take a drive on Route 192 through Madisonburg and Rebersburg, you can see Amish farms unchanged for nearly two centuries. For a special treat, enjoy a meal at our local Amish Coop, Kinfork in Madisonburg, PA, and get dessert at Mammy's Donut Shop in Rebersburg, PA. While you are there, pick up a special gift at Fisher's Shoe and Saddle Shop and Elk Creek Dry Goods.
  • Woodward Cave: Known as "The Coral Cavern," this site displays complex stalactite formations, sea fossils, and features an easily accessible walk-through layout. It is vital to Pennsylvania bat population and has the largest column formation of all PA caves.
  • Millheim: A creative, walkable small town featuring local artisan markets, a community-centric craft brewery, and lively grassroots music venues.
  • Poe Paddy and Poe Valley State Park: Tucked deep within the surrounding state forest, this serene park features a peaceful lake ideal for swimming, kayaking, and remote camping.
