Each participating cave offers a unique experience—from spectacular limestone formations and fascinating geology to rich history and guided tours. Visit all three locations, collect your stamps, and earn an official PA Cave Explorer Sticker as a keepsake of your adventure.

How It Works

Begin your adventure at any participating cave.

  • Admission to your first cave visit is at regular price.
  • After your first cave visit, receive $2 off regular cave tour admission for the passport holder and up to three family members at each of the remaining two participating caves.
  • Collect a stamp at all three caves and earn an official PA Cave Explorer Sticker when your passport is complete.

The Central PA Cave Explorer Passport is available free of charge at participating caves and select regional visitor centers, including:

Each participating cave offers a distinctly different experience, making the Central PA Cave Explorer Passport the perfect way to discover the natural beauty, geology, and history hidden beneath Central Pennsylvania.

Before you visit, be sure to check each cave's website for current hours of operation, tour schedules, ticket information, accessibility details, and seasonal updates. Because each cave operates independently, hours, admission policies, tour schedules, accessibility, and visitor information may vary throughout the year.

Directions

  • Start at Woodward Cave and take PA-45 East through Penns Valley toward Centre Hall.
  • Arrive at Penn’s Cave & Wildlife Park in about 35–40 minutes.
  • After Penn’s Cave, head back to PA-192 and connect to US-322 West toward Huntingdon.
  • Arrive at Lincoln Caverns & Whisper Rocks in about 1 hour.

Passport Restrictions

Discount is not valid at your first cave visit. First cave visited must be paid at regular admission price. Valid for regular cave tour admission only. Passport must be presented at purchase. Cannot be combined with other offers, group rates, or discounts. One passport per family. No cash value. Participating caves: Penn's Cave, Lincoln Caverns & Whisper Rocks, and Woodward Cave.
